RULES AND REGULATIONS.
Registration will start at 8:00 PM with a limit of 20 contestants each night. The number moving on to the quarterfinals will depend on how many register.
Information on venues, dates, and times will be available on the Halfway Jam web site, so check back often!
Song choice is very important! Judges will be looking for songs that will be appropriate for Halfway Jam. No matter how good you are at a song, if it won't work on the stage at Halfway Jam you might not make it through to the next round. So choose songs wisely!
The Dates for the Quarter finals are April 28th at Double Deuce in Pierz, MN [map] (320-468-0288). If you want to practice at all you may start signing in at noon. The contest starts at around 1:30-2:00 PM and will run until 10 PM or so plan for a full day. Lots of drawings and food specials get ready for a FUN TIME!
If you move on to the Semi finals they will be held at 10 Spot in Royalton, MN [map] on May 19th (320-584-8222) This one will be held outside, weather permitting -- cross your fingers for good weather! Registration will be 1:30 PM contest starts at 3:00 PM. Please have two songs ready at this one because you might be asked to sing another song. Bring your friends to cheer you on! This is where we pick our top 12 to sing and compete at Halfway Jam 2012.
