It's been nearly 20 years since Jackyl shot out of Georgia with its wild, untamed and uncouth approach to rock 'n' roll. Equal parts hard rock, heavy metal and Southern rock, Jackyl formed in 1991 and brought back rock 'n' roll back -- back to its down-to-earth, wild, fun-loving origins. Full of spit and swagger -- and a "dirty" sense of humor to boot -- Jackyl quickly earned a deal with Geffen Records. Jackyl's live shows were already legendary before the ink dried on the Geffen contract.
The 1992 self-titled debut album went platinum and featured notable rock radio hits like "Down On Me," "When Will It Rain," "I Stand Alone" and, most notably, "The Lumberjack," during which vocalist Jesse James Dupree performed a chain-saw solo. Dupree's chain-saw escapades on album and in concert became one of many Jackyl trademarks. With the release of 'Jackyl' hit the road and barely left it since. Just long enough to record new albums. Touring mates in those early days included Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Damn Yankees.
Saturday 9:00 - 10:15 PM
It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply because they were two words that sounded good together. Fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts later April Wine has become enormously popular in Canada, the United States and throughout the world.
Saturday 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Blimp is THE Led Zeppelin cover band you MUST see. It's the closest thing you'll ever get to a live Zep performance without time traveling back to the 70s.
This quartet never set out to sound "just like the record" because they knew that even Zeppelin itself didn't sound that way in concert. Instead they give their audience a true LIVE show with extended solos, twists and energetic turns, while staying true to the source material.
Saturday 3:30 - 4:30 PM
Lolah was first formed by Choad in 2007 as a four-piece. After the usual rock & roll laundry-list of lineup changes and false starts, the lolah-train finally got chugging in mid 2009 as a trio. Between all three members, opening slots for national acts from Cheap Trick to Death Angel to Blue Felix have been achieved along with three appearances at Halfway Jam.
Saturday 4:45 - 5:45 PM
